Childhood's Lost Mission Statement

They have a story to tell, but their voices are silent, their bright futures met with uncertainty, cut short by a misguided sense of maturity. Their Childhoods left like graffiti on walls, memorials of fallen street soldiers seen but to soon forgotten. Just a whisper of what was promised. This is their story some will see another day a glimpse of sunshine and others will only see days that seem like nights filled with the pains of their childhood lost.

Our mission is too capture the voice of the child that has lost his or her way. Those that have been invisible to our media outlets, youth agencies and any real adult intervention. We will seek to return to them their voices without judgement or ridicule, with only the intent to reinvigorate what so many of our youth has lost...THEIR CHILDHOODS.

Our method will be through story and film, depicting situations loosely based on true events of our youth. All Characters from the series are fictional and the events portrayed reflect the imagination of it writers and their vision of bringing back a better and more fulfilling childhood for our youth.

Segen Sam Gebremariam

My love for entertainment started when I was a little girl making up characters and scenarios in my own living room with my two sisters. I’ve always had a desire to become an actress growing up (along with a fireman, nurse, vet, etc) . The first step I took into performing was in college where I started dancing. I’ve danced with teams such as Addictive, TDT (The Definition of Talent), The Academy of Phresh, and Monster Squad. Dancing peaked my interest to start taking classes for acting. As of now, the only work I’ve done as an actress can be found in music videos for Philly artist like Yufi Zewdu and Cody Khamar. I’m excited to say that this will “Officially” be my first play. This cast is a talented group of individuals and I’m anxious to see the outcome of our hard work. See you here and God Bless!
