TRI-STATE RAP BALL RULES *****DEADLINE JUNE 1******
First and foremost the Tri-State Rap Ball (hereafter, TSRB) is not just an event it is a production. Each artist is expected to bring their “A” game remember to conduct themselves in a professional manner. TSRB is categorized in 3 rounds and a Championship; the (1st round) Punchline Tipoff being for the battle rappers, (2nd round) Lyrical Assist Round being for the lyrical rappers and the final round (3rd round) is Full Court for the original song composed of ALL the rappers. Studio time and beats will be provided for rounds 2 and 3.
Round 1 (Punchline Tipoff)
One (1) member of each team goes head to head in a lyrical punchline tipoff for 3 1-minute rounds. Judges decide winner by the TSRB point system. In case of a tie the crowd will be the deciding factor.
Round 2 (Lyrical Assist)
Two (2) members from each team assist each other in the most creative way of their choice (collaborative song or freestyle within 2-minutes) to win this round. Judges will choose the winner in this round.
Round 3
Every member on the team must be on the original song. Judges pick winner according to creativity, stage presentation and crowd participation. Team with the most wins will move on to the championship. Winners will get interviewed by PFI Magazine, be presented the Tri-State Rap Ball Trophy and a cash prize! Big Heff will be honoring the winning team…HE MAY GIVE AWAY A DISTRIBUTION DEAL!
Resignation includes: Cd with original beats from several Tri-State Producers, customized team jerseys, artist interview, 2 hours studio time at Sound Chemistry Studios and promotional video by DW Media.
